Who We Are

For 30 years Escalante Rugs has been bringing you the finest handwoven textiles, woven by Zapotec Indians of the Oaxaca Valley, Mexico.

We have developed deep, time-tested relationships in the village, working with and alongside the Zapotec Indians. The gracious nature of our Indian friends and the deeply held cultural and historical charm are an honor to witness. Their incredible talent shows brightly in their tapestries and weavings.

Escalante Rugs works with ranches, boutique hotels, designers, retail stores and private clients throughout the country. We offer mountain modern, western contemporary, southwest, mountain/lodge, neutral and natural designs.
